Volleyball Beats AVC in First Home Game

The Lady Ram volleyball team won a very close 5 set thriller in a matchup against the Antelope Valley Marauders on September 4, 2024. The Lady Rams won 3-2 on an amazing game winning kill from Alayja Hall. The final scores were 23-25, 25-16, 25-18, 19-25, and 15-10.

Both teams put up a strong fight, with Antelope Valley showing resilience throughout the game. However, the Ram's strong offensive performance, led by Alayja Hall with 15 kills, ultimately secured the win for the team.

Antelope Valley's Illyana Vermeiren also had a standout performance with 8 kills and 3 aces. Shamicah Rensulat was consistent all night, with 17 digs in the game. Rayleigh Lyon was another standout performer as she chipped in with 5 aces. 

Overall, it was a closely contested game that showcased the talent and tenacity of both teams. Victor Valley's victory was well-earned agaisnt an Antelope Valley team that came in undefeated. 

The Lady Rams head out to El Camino College this Saturday to take on the Warriors at 5:00pm.
