Women's Volleyball Falls to MSJC

The Victor Valley College Lady Rams fell to Mt San Jacinto in straight sets, with scores of 25-20, 25-17, and 25-18. The loss brings the Lady Rams record to 8-6 overall and 4-2 in conference.

In the first set, Mt. San Jacinto started strong and took control early, building a comfortable lead. The Lady Rams tried to mount a comeback, but Mt. San Jacinto's strong attack and solid serving prevented them from closing the gap. Mt. San Jacinto won the set 25-20.

The second set followed a similar pattern, with Mt. San Jacinto maintaining their momentum and building another lead. The Lady Rams struggled to find their rhythm, allowing Mt. San Jacinto to extend their lead further. Mt. San Jacinto closed out the set with a score of 25-17.

In the third set, the Lady Rams started tough, displaying a balanced attack and strong blocking. The Lady Rams fought hard, but Mt. San Jacinto's consistent play proved too much to handle. Mt. San Jacinto sealed the victory with a 25-18 win in the third set.

Several players stood out for the Lady Rams in the loss. Kayleigh Dupree was the standout player, recording a team-high 10 kills. Reivensymone Ili also had a solid performance with 12 kills. Laci Olivas contributed 11 assists, while Shamicah Rensulat led the team in digs with 7.

The Lady Rams have another home game this Friday October 19th, at 5:00pm against Copper Mountain College.
