Lady Ram Tennis Wins First Match

Victorville, CA

The Victor Valley College Women's Tennis team secured a thrilling victory against El Camino College with a score of 5 to 4 in a nail-biting match on Thursday February 29th, 2024.

The match started with doubles as the tandem of Khloe Burfield and Emily Manning won their match 8 to 5, while Nicole Robles and Gersemy Martinez won by default. 

The singles matches were fiercely contested, with each player giving their all to secure a win for their team. The Victor Valley College team showed great resilience and composure under pressure, with several players stepping up to deliver impressive performances and clinch crucial victories. Nicole Robles won her singles match 2-6, 6-2, 11-9. Khloe Burfield won her singles match 7-5, 7-5, which ended up being the clinching victory of the match.

The victory against El Camino College is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the Victor Valley College Women's Tennis team amd Coach Anthony Chatfield. 

Coach Chatfield praised their efforts and highlighted their teamwork and determination as key factors in their victory.

The Victor Valley College Women's Tennis team can now celebrate their hard-earned victory and look forward to continued success in future matches.
