Women's basketball win first game

Victor Valley defeated LA Pierce with a final score of 76-71. The game was held at Victor Valley College.

LA Pierce started strong, leading in the first quarter with a score of 17-9. They continued their momentum in the second quarter, outscoring Victor Valley 19-17. However, Victor Valley made a comeback in the third quarter, scoring 21 points compared to LA Pierce's 14. In the final quarter, Victor Valley extended their lead by scoring 29 points while LA Pierce managed to score 21.

Victor Valley's Ebony Black-Smith had an outstanding performance, scoring 31 points and recording 10 rebounds. Moriah Burley also had a strong showing, scoring 25 points and grabbing 5 rebounds. Taneah Johnson contributed 5 points and 7 rebounds.

Overall, Victor Valley had a higher shooting percentage, with 73.0% compared to LA Pierce's 52.4%. They also had more rebounds and assists, showcasing their dominance in the game.

This victory for Victor Valley highlights their strong performance and ability to make a comeback. LA Pierce put up a good fight, but ultimately fell short. Both teams displayed skill and determination throughout the game.
