Two wins and a close loss

The Victor Valley Rams women's basketball team has had an eventful start to their season, with three exciting games that showcased their talent and determination. Led by standout players Ebony Black-Smith and Moriah Burley, the Rams have already experienced the thrill of victory. Let's dive into the details of these three games and the impact these players have had on the team's performance.

Game 1: Victor Valley vs. Compton - A Dominating Win
On November 9, 2023, the Victor Valley Rams faced off against Compton in a game that showcased their offensive prowess and defensive strength. The Rams dominated the court, securing a resounding victory with a final score of 65-27. Ebony Black-Smith, a key player for the Rams, displayed her exceptional skills by leading the team in scoring. Her ability to consistently put points on the board contributed significantly to the team's success in this game.

Game 2: Victor Valley vs. Ventura - A Heartbreaking Loss
The following day, on November 10, 2023, the Rams faced a tough challenge against Ventura. Despite their best efforts, the Rams fell short by a narrow margin, losing the game 49-50. However, Moriah Burley, known for her exceptional defensive skills, shone brightly in this game. Her ability to disrupt the opponents' offense and make crucial defensive plays kept the Rams in the game until the very end. Although the team suffered a loss, Burley's contributions were invaluable and demonstrated her importance to the Rams' defensive strategy.

Game 3: Victor Valley at West LA - A Hard-Fought Victory
On November 12, 2023, the Rams traveled to West LA for their fourth game of the season. It was a closely contested match, with both teams giving their all on the court. In the end, the Rams emerged victorious with a final score of 66-60.  Taneah Johnson lead the team in scoring and playing a pivotal role in securing the win putting up 17 points.
