Eight Lady Rams Earn All-Conference Honors

The Victor Valley College Women's Basketball team had a standout season, with eight players earning Inland Empire Athletic Conference All-Conference selections. These talented athletes showcased their skills and dedication throughout the season, earning recognition for their hard work on the court.

Leading the way for the team were Ebony Black-Smith and Karoline Ellison, who both earned first team selections. Black-Smith, a dynamic guard, was a key player for the team, averaging double figures in points and providing solid defense. Ellison, a versatile forwardpoint gaurd was consistent throughout the season.


Joining Black-Smith and Ellison on the All-Conference team were Aaliyah Wright, Taneah Johnson, and Moriah Burley, who all earned second team selections. Wright, a sharpshooting guard, was a consistent scorer for the team, while Johnson and Burley provided solid contributions on both ends of the court.

Rounding out the All-Conference selections were Lexie Murphy, Angeliah Tuimaualuga, and Natalie Galaviz, who all earned honorable mention. Murphy, a skilled shooter, was a reliable scorer and defender for the team, while Tuimaualuga and Galaviz provided valuable minutes off the bench.

Overall, the Victor Valley College Women's Basketball team had a successful season as co-champions of the IEAC. These eight players lead the way and earned well-deserved recognition for their efforts. Their hard work and dedication have not gone unnoticed, and they will surely continue to make an impact on the court as the Lady Rams head to the 3C2A Southern California regional playoffs.
