**Victor Valley College Rams Dominate in Doubleheader Sweep Against College of the Desert**

On April 11, 2025, the Victor Valley College Rams showcased their prowess on the diamond, sweeping a doubleheader against College of the Desert in commanding fashion. With stellar performances on both offense and defense, the Rams secured victories with scores of 9-1 and 11-3, respectively. The wins were not only a testament to the team's depth and skill but also a celebration of the contributions made by their standout sophomores: Mikayla Cuellar, Rebekah Godwin, Amaya Zaldivar, and Ashley Arauz.

**Game 1: Rams' Offense Ignites in Late Innings**

The first game saw a slow start, with both teams scoreless until the third inning. However, the Rams came alive in the later innings, thanks to key performances by Mikayla Cuellar and team captain Hayley Stanislawski. Cuellar, the spark plug for Victor Valley's offense, went 2-for-2 with three RBIs and two walks, along with a stolen base, setting the tone for the Rams.
