Although the Rams Soccer team fought tough, the drop their second game in a row to start the 2024 season.
After losing to Antelope Valley 1-3 on Friday August 23rd, the Rams fell to Pasadena City August 27th with a score of 2-1. The game took place at PCC Stadium with an attendance of 55 spectators.
Pasadena City took the lead in the first half with a goal in the 24th minute. However, Victor Valley fought back in the second half with a goal from Daniel Miralda, assisted by Kenneth Roman, leveling the score at 1-1. Pasadena City regained the lead with another goal, in the 62nd minute, securing their victory.
One of the highlights from the Rams in the game was Emmanual Lopez making 16 saves. Lopez gave great effort all game to keep the Rams close.
Overall, the Rams will take the positives from this close loss into their next home game Friday August 30th vs Moorpark at 6:00pm.
