Ram Golf Closes Out Season on a High Note

The Victor Valley College Ram golf team ended their first season under Head Coach Derrick Williams on a high note, with several players achieving personal best scores in the Orange Empire Conference Finals.

Freshman Keegan Johnson, who has shown immense potential throughout the season, had a standout performance with scores of 87 in the first round and 84 in the second round. These scores marked his best performances of the season and demonstrated his growth and improvement under Coach Williams' guidance.

Sophomore Cesar Ontiveros also delivered impressive results, posting scores of 92 in both the first and second rounds. These scores were his best of the year and showcased his dedication and hard work in practice and on the course.

Another standout player was sophomore Dominick Rivera, who closed out his Victor Valley golf career with solid scores of 90 in both rounds. Rivera has been a consistent performer for the team throughout the season and his steady play was instrumental in the team's success.

Coach Williams expressed his pride in the team's performance and highlighted the significant improvements they have made since the beginning of the season. He commended the players for their hard work, dedication, and determination to succeed, and he is excited about the future of Ram golf.

Overall, the Victor Valley College Ram golf team displayed tremendous growth and improvement throughout the season, culminating in some impressive performances at the OEC Conference Finals.
