Men's Basketball Drops Season Finale in Double OT

In a thrilling double-overtime game, the Victor Valley College Men's Basketball team closed out their season with a tough loss to College of the Desert. The final score was 120-115 in favor of Desert, marking the end of Head Coach William Funn's first season at the helm.

The game was a back-and-forth affair from start to finish, with both teams trading baskets and momentum throughout the night. Victor Valley came out strong in the first half, taking a narrow lead into halftime. However, Desert fought back in the second half to force overtime.

In the extra periods, both teams continued to battle it out, but ultimately Desert was able to pull away and secure the victory. Despite the loss, the Rams showed resilience and determination, fighting until the very end.

Leading the way for Victor Valley was Sheldon Grant, who had an impressive 38 points and 11 rebounds in the game. Jordan Malveaux also had a strong showing with 30 points, while Mason Bush, Alijah Gonsalves, and Dominique Finks also contributed to the team's efforts.
