**Victor Valley College Rams Triumph in Thrilling Walk-Off Victory Against Pasadena City College**
Victor Valley College Baseball fans witnessed a heart-stopping finish as the Rams staged a dramatic comeback to secure an 8-7 victory over Pasadena City College on February 11, 2025. The Rams' resilience and determination were on full display, capped by Aiden Caporale's clutch walk-off single in the bottom of the ninth inning to drive in the winning runs.
The game began with Pasadena City taking a commanding lead, scoring three runs in the first inning and four more in the second, putting the Rams in a 7-0 deficit. However, Victor Valley slowly chipped away at the lead. In the fourth inning, L. Cross singled to bring home R. Tulacro, marking the Rams' first run of the game. By the fifth inning, the Rams added another run, capitalizing on a defensive error by Pasadena City's catcher, closing the gap to 7-2.
Victor Valley's bullpen then took control, with L. Riggs and G. Guerrero combining for three scoreless innings, effectively halting Pasadena City's offensive momentum. Their performance set the stage for a Rams comeback in the late innings.
In the eighth inning, Aiden Caporale played a pivotal role, singling and advancing on an error, which allowed J. Conti to score. This was followed by L. Childress scoring on a wild pitch, bringing the Rams within striking distance at 7-4.
The ninth inning was a showcase of Victor Valley's tenacity. R. Tulacro doubled to right center field, bringing home O. Fuoco and narrowing the deficit to 7-5. Moments later, M. Herring drew a bases-loaded walk, scoring J. Lloyd and cutting Pasadena City's lead to a single run.
