Bio

Justin Harper has been actively involved in tennis since 1988.  Coach Harper grew up playing tennis around the valley, and competing in United States Tennis Association tournaments along with local tournaments.  He played all 4 years at Sultana High School and won the High School Mojave River League Tournament.  He went on to play for Victor Valley College from 1999-2000.  

Harper continued his tennis journey by becoming a certified United States Professional Tennis Association teaching pro, working at Spring Valley Lake Country Club.  

Harper joined the Victor Valley College Coaching staff in 2008.  The Foothill Conference awarded him Coach of the Year in 2012.  He wants to continue to pass on his passion for tennis to all that want to learn and grown with the sport.  

Coach Harper wants to continue to help students with their confidence along with technique development.  “I want to help push these athletes to reach their goals, whether it’s to continue to a 4 year college, or to improve their tennis skills and passion for the game.  Tennis is a great tool for positively impacting the lives of our players.” Harper said.
