Bio

Rauley Zaragoza is a former football player and current coach. He began his playing career at Azusa High School as a receiver, where he achieved notable accomplishments. He was named to the All Montview League team for four consecutive years and set records in receiving yards and touchdowns for the school. Additionally, Zaragoza received recognition as an All San Gabriel Valley receiver in 2008 and 2009, as well as an All CIF receiver during the same period.

Continuing his football journey, Zaragoza attended Citrus College, where he played as a receiver and punter. He excelled both on and off the field, earning a spot on the All-Academic Team. He was also recognized as a 2nd Team Central Division receiver and a 1st Team Central Division punter in 2010 and 2011, respectively.

Zaragoza's skills and dedication led him to receive a full scholarship to the University of Delaware (Division 1). There, he played as a punter and slot receiver while maintaining his academic excellence. He was named to the All-Academic Team and was listed on the 2012 CFPA Placekicker Watchlist.

After his playing career, Zaragoza transitioned into coaching. He began his coaching journey at Azusa High School, where he served as the receivers coach and assistant offensive coordinator for four years. Later, he joined Northview High School's varsity team as the receivers and kicking coach, as well as the assistant offensive coordinator, for a period of five years.

In addition to his football background, Zaragoza holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology & Health Behavior Science, with a minor in Coaching, which he earned in 2015.
