Bio

Dupree, a graduate from Fullerton College, enters his 8th season coaching football in both the Community College and High School realms. Before returning for his 2nd season at VVC; Dupree had a three-season stint with both the local Victor Valley High School and Silverado High school. From 2019- 2021, under Head Coach Jeff Vanover, Dupree helped the program progress from a 1-9 program to a combined 8-8 seasons and the program’s first playoff berth and victory in 8 years. As the program’s Passing Game coordinator, he was responsible for 1st team all-league Qb Gabe Campos. In the 2022- 2033 season he joined the Silverado Hawks under Head Coach Keron Jones coaching the Quarterbacks position. Gabe Campos was named 1st team all-league QB and the program finished 8-2 with the program's highest playoff berth in school history (CIF Division 5). Campos career stats were 196-301 (65%) for 32 tds and 11 ints with 61 rushes for 409 yds.

In 2019 Dupree Joined the Rams for the first time under Interim Head Coach Patrick Lord and Offensive Coordinator Niyika Long. As the Running Backs coach, the rams rushed for 1234 yds with a total of 10 touchdowns. Overall was a great learning experience and an introduction to High Desert recruiting.

Dupree joined the Riverside City College Tigers for the 2017 and 2018 seasons. He was an offensive assistant (Quarterbacks), who coached CCCAA players of the year Vic Viramontes (17’) and Stone Smartt(18’). Viramontes, a more natural athlete, was 126-212 (59.4%) for 1868 yds with 22 tds and 11 ints. Viramontes also had 183 carries for 1346 yds and 21 tds in the rushing game. In 2017 RCC finished 10-2 ranked #4 in offense (CCCAA) with 5577 yds, #3 in rushing with 3263 yds, #2 in Rushing first downs (154) and a trip to the SCFA Playoff Finals game. Stone Smartt, a more prototypical quarterback, was ranked #1 in passing efficiency (182.2). He went 177-277 (63.9%) 2754 yds with 33tds and 3ints. He also had 132 rushes for 583 yds and 9 tds. RCC finished 10-2 with a trip to the SCFA Playoff finals. In 2018 RCC was ranked #2 in total offense (5995); #3 in rushing for 3102yds, #2 on 3rd down conversion 80-169, and #1 in Redzone touchdowns (40-62) in the CCCAA. Learning from Head Coach Tom Craft and the rest of staff was a great overall experience teaching the base fundamentals of a winning and now championship program. Dupree was responsible for recruiting Orange County, CA.

Dupree started his coaching career at Cabrillo High School in Long Beach, CA. Under Head Coach Bob Moran, he was the Quarterbacks/Wide Receivers coach. Following his coordinator from college he was also able to work with former USC Defensive line coach Dave Watson (OL), and former Compton College Head Football Coach Fernandes (DC/ST). It was a competitive league where Cabrillo would play teams such as Long Beach Poly, Woodrow Wilson, Jordan, Compton High Schools etc.

Dupree was a Quarterback for the Fullerton College Hornets from 2013-2015. He played for Head Coach Tim Byrnes, a 2x CCCAA State champion. His offensive coordinator is a 40-year veteran Bob Moran (Citrus College). His Quarterbacks coach was former Pasadena City College Head Coach Tom Maher. In 2015 the team made a Western States bowl appearance (6-5) …. In 2014 the team made a playoff berth to the National Bowl (8-3). In 2013, Dupree’s grey shirt season, the team made a CCCAA State title berth and was ranked #1 in offense with 6201 yds in the CCCAA (12-1). Dupree’s career stats are 1-3 for 10 yds passing with 1 rush for 6 yds. Dupree played in 3 games.

Dupree graduated and played Varsity Football at Waimea High School, Waimea, HI. He played for Head Coach Keli’i Aguiar, who was a former defensive lineman and graduate of the University of Hawaii. Dupree played Quarterback, Tight End, and Outside Linebacker. Dupree was born in San Jose, CA.
