Rams Football To Play for Metro League Title

The Victor Valley College Rams football team is gearing up for their biggest game of the season as they prepare to face off against Chaffey College in the American Metro Conference title game on Saturday, November 16th, 2024. The Rams are currently in first place in the conference and have the opportunity to claim the outright championship with a win over Chaffey.

After a slow start to the season, going 0-5 in non-conference games, the Rams have turned things around in conference play, winning their last four games and remaining undefeated in conference play. The team has shown great resilience and determination, fighting through adversity to put themselves in a position to win the conference title.

Head coach David Slover has done a fantastic job of rallying his players and getting them to buy into his system. The team has shown great improvement throughout the season, both offensively and defensively, and they are peaking at just the right time heading into the championship game.

The Rams will be looking to their key players, such as quarterback Seth Burbine and receivers Cael Meisman and Don Henry, to lead the team to victory against Chaffey. Seth Burbine has been a dynamic playmaker all season, throwing for over 2,300 yards and 23 touchdowns, while Mesiman and Henry have been solid pass catchers this season, combining for over 1400 yards and 14 touchdowns together. 

Chaffey College will undoubtedly provide a tough challenge for the Rams, as they are also a talented and well-coached team. However, the Rams are confident in their abilities and believe that they have what it takes to come out on top and claim the conference title.

The Rams football team could use the support of the community this week. The atmosphere at the game is sure to be electric, as both teams and their fans will be pumped up for this highly anticipated matchup.
