**Victor Valley College Baseball Team Secures Second Win of the Season Against Imperial Valley**

In an exhilarating match on February 1, 2025, the Victor Valley College baseball team clinched their second victory of the early season by defeating Imperial Valley College with a final score of 5-3. This triumph showcased the team's resilience and strategic prowess, setting a promising tone for the upcoming games.

The game started off with Imperial Valley taking an early lead in the first inning. However, Victor Valley responded in the second inning when J. Conti capitalized on an error by Imperial Valley, leveling the score at 1-1.

Victor Valley's offensive efforts were bolstered in the sixth inning. O. Rosas delivered a crucial single that brought E. Logsdon home, followed by a powerful double from J. Lloyd that allowed O. Rosas to score, pushing Victor Valley ahead 3-2. Despite Imperial Valley's efforts to tie the game in the same inning, Victor Valley held firm.

The ninth inning proved decisive for Victor Valley. J. Lloyd scored on a passed ball, adding to their lead. Shortly after, I. Jimenez's single brought A. Caporale home, cementing the victory at 5-3.
